5466-1035 Woodward MicroNet Plus 5200 CPU Controller

Description:

WOODWARD 5466-1035 is a controller that is used by some of GE Gas Power's aeroderivative customers. 

The MicroNet™ Plus/MicroNet TMR® CPU5200 product family uses a 4-port Ethernet connector for general Ethernet connectivity and Real Time Networking. An unanticipated sourcing issue has resulted in a shortage of the Ethernet connector, and in order to meet our customer’s delivery expectations, Woodward will temporarily change to a functional equivalent.

The original Ethernet connector uses a solid yellow LED to indicate the Link and flashing green to indicate TX/RX. The replacement Ethernet connector uses green for Link and yellow for TX/RX. There are no other changes to form, fit, or function.

In cooperation with Woodward, GE Gas Power conducted a security assessment on legacy versions of the MicroNet Plus 5200 CPU that resulted in the discovery of security issues. From discussions with Woodward, it has been determined that these issues have been addressed in newer versions of the MicroNet Plus CPUs. To reduce the risk of a security event on these devices, Woodward and GE strongly recommend upgrading your system to a modern MicroNet Plus CPU.
