Description:

The 560BCU01 unit is designed to send RTU560 system bus signals from the 560CSR01 to the outside, connecting to a second 560CSR01.

ALARM (ALR) and WARNING (WRN) signals can be sent externally using relay contacts.

External pulses are input via optocoupler. Filtered internal pulses are output as a 24V pulse.

The SEB (System Expansion Bus) can be connected to the second bus connection unit 560BCU01 using a 9-pin SUB-D connector.

The 560BCU01 can only be used on the communication master bracket 560CSR01.

The bus connection unit 560BCU01 is typically installed in slot 81/board address 0 of the 560CSRO1. Power for this board is supplied by the RTU560 system bus of the 560CSRO1.

Alarm and warning signals are distributed on relay contacts. When an alarm is issued, a warning signal also takes effect. Alarms and warnings are monitored by a watchdog timer, which activates if the RTU board does not respond within 30 seconds. External pulses can be fed into the RTU560 via the TSI input; these pulses can be estimated using a time-based function.

Internal filtered pulses are available at the pulse output TS0.

Up to one additional communication master bracket 560CSRO1 can be connected to the SEB connector to expand the system.
