The 5SHY5055L0002 controls the speed and torque of AC motors, allowing users to optimize system performance by operating the equipment at the speed required to meet load demands. Furthermore, the 5SHY5055L0002 can be configured to smoothly accelerate and decelerate to the command speed, reducing wear on associated mechanical components. One of the key advantages of the 5SHY5055L0002 is that energy savings can be achieved by operating the motor at any speed below the maximum speed, as long as it meets equipment requirements.

This product series features a UL open frame design, a compact design, nickel- and tin-plated busbars, and a corrosion-resistant conformal coating. The VFD is designed for a long service life and provides maintenance alarm signals. The electrical input is nominally rated at 400V AC, three-phase low voltage (with an acceptable input voltage range of 380-480V AC). Fourteen models are available, with capacities ranging up to 139A. Each /FD is quad-rated for four different duty cycles (normal or heavy overload, and 40°C mild or 50°C high temperature), allowing users to minimize the number of models required to handle a variety of applications.
