The Speed and Key Monitor is designed for high reliability for the plant’s most critical rotating machinery monitoring speed, phase, zero speed and direction of rotation.
The A6370 Monitor is part of the AMS 6300 SIS Overspeed protection system and is mounted in a 19” rack (84HP width and 3RU height) in combination with the A6371 system backplane
The DC/DC system power supply is used to power the DeltaV controllers and I/O interfaces from either 12 or 24V DC bulk power and can be mounted next to the controller on a Power/Controller carrier and provide the 5 and 3.3V DC required by the controller.
