The HIMA F3335 is a 4-channel output module certified for safety-related applications up to SIL 3 per IEC 61508. It is specifically designed for controlling intrinsically safe solenoid valves and for supplying 0/4-20 mA intrinsically safe transmitters. The module allows installation of valves and transmitters in potentially explosive atmospheres from Zone 1.

Certified for safety-related applications up to SIL 3 according to IEC 61508. ATEX certified for Ex zone 1 ([EEx ib] IIC). Four intrinsically safe voltage outputs with current limiting, suitable for controlling solenoid valves and supplying 0/4‑20 mA transmitters in hazardous areas.
Nominal output voltage 19 V at 20 mA load; no‑load voltage 24 V; short‑circuit current 52 mA (module is short‑circuit proof). Switching time approx. 15 ms; reset time 35 to 270 ms (load dependent). Each channel operates independently.
Two output circuits of one or two F3335 modules can be wired in parallel for redundant operation. Designed to be mounted in a 19" subrack with forced ventilation (fan K9203 or, in H41q system, fan K9212 directly under the module).
