Description:
IS200SPIDG1A is a PROFIBUS Profibus-DP Master Comm Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe Series used in Distributed Control Systems. The I/O pack is mounted on the PROFIBUS Master Gateway Terminal board (SPIDG1A), which also provides an electronic ID. As the PROFIBUS connection is established to the DE-9 D-sub receptacle connector that is exposed on the side of the I/O pack, that connection's only interface is with the I/O pack itself. Indicator LEDs on the I/O pack enable visual diagnostics.
