Description:
The TRICONEX 3805E is a regulator module in the Triconex 8000 Safety Instrumented System (SIS) series and a key component of the TRICONEX family. It is a powerful module suitable for regulation and control loops in a variety of industrial applications. Its primary function is to convert digital signals into analog signals to drive actuators (such as valves and motors), thereby achieving precise control of process variables.
The 3805E analog output module is designed to receive output signals from three channels of the main processor module. These signals are voted on, and one normally functioning channel is selected to drive the eight outputs.

FEATURES:
- High Reliability and Safety
Employing a triple redundancy design (TMR), the system ensures high reliability and safety, meeting SIL 3 safety integrity level requirements.
- High-Precision Output
Output accuracy is ±0.1% or less than 0.25%, with a response time less than or equal to 2ms, meeting the high-precision requirements of industrial process control.
- Flexible Configuration
Supports multiple communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC, etc., facilitating integration with other systems.
- Modular Design
Modules have independent analog output channels, each electrically isolated, improving interference immunity.
- Channel Monitoring
Each channel includes a current loopback circuit for verifying signal accuracy, unaffected by load or channel selection. Self-Calibration: The module maintains an internal voltage reference for self-calibration and provides module health information.
- Diagnostics
Continuous diagnostics are performed on each channel and circuit of the module. Any diagnostic failure will disable the faulty channel and activate the fault indicator light, triggering a chassis alarm.
- Redundancy
This module supports redundant power loops and features independent power and fuse indicators (PWR1 and PWR2).
- Open-Loop Detection
The indicator lights will activate if the module fails to supply power to one or more outputs.
- Hot Standby
Supports online replacement of faulty modules without shutting down the system.
- Mechanical Foolproofing
Each module incorporates a mechanical foolproof design to prevent incorrect installation within the configured chassis.
