RPS6U 200-582-200-122 Vibration VM600 Rack Power Supply

The RPS6U 200-582-200-013 is a rack power supply for the VM600Mk2/VM600 series. It is specifically designed for the VM600Mk2/VM600 series mechanical protection systems and condition and performance monitoring systems.

This power supply is mounted at the front of the ABE04x system rack and connects to the VME bus on the rack backplane via two high-current connectors, enabling the system rack to be powered by external AC and/or DC power supplies and supporting a wide input voltage range.

One or two VM600Mk2/VM600 RPS6U rack power supplies can be installed in a VM600Mk2/VM600 ABE04x system rack. A rack equipped with a single RPS6U power supply can meet the power requirements of the entire rack module (card) at a maximum operating temperature of 50°C (122°F). In addition, the rack can accommodate two RPS6U power supplies for rack power redundancy, or provide non-redundant power to modules (cards) under broader environmental conditions.

A VM600Mk2/VM600 ABE04x system rack equipped with two RPS6U power supplies can achieve redundant operation (i.e., rack power redundancy), meeting the power requirements of the entire rack of modules (cards). This means that even if one RPS6U fails, the other RPS6U can still provide 100% power to the rack, ensuring continuous rack operation and thus improving the availability of the equipment monitoring system.
