Description:

The PROXPAC XL proximity sensor assembly is designed similarly to our 31000/32000 proximity probe housing assembly. Like the 31000 and 32000 housings, this assembly offers the same advantages and functionality, providing easy user access and external adjustment of the proximity probe.

However, the PROXPAC XL assembly also incorporates a separate 3300XL proximity sensor within its housing cover. This design makes the PROXPAC XL assembly a completely independent proximity probe system, eliminating the need for extension cables between the probe and its associated proximity sensor. Furthermore, since field wiring connects directly between the monitor and the PROXPAC XL assembly, a separate proximity sensor housing is also unnecessary.

The PROXPAC XL housing is made of polyphenylene sulfide (PP), an advanced molding thermoplastic material. This material replaces the steel and aluminum used in previous housings in the Bently Nevada product line. It also incorporates glass fiber and conductive fibers into the PPS material to enhance housing strength and more effectively dissipate static charge. The PROXPAC XL enclosure meets Type 4X and IP66 environmental protection standards, providing extra protection in harsh environments.
