Description:

The Rockwell Allen-Bradley 1440-RMA00-04RC (XM-440) Master Relay Module combines four high-power relay outputs with XM bus master capabilities to provide remote, shared, and voted relay operation for distributed XM measurement modules. It acts as a master/scanner on the XM network, monitoring alarms from up to 64 XM measurement modules (slaves) and controlling its own relay outputs accordingly. The module supports “A out of B” voting logic (up to 16 alarms/relays per relay), programmable time delays (0…25.5 s), and failsafe or non-failsafe operation. It can be expanded with one or two XM-441 Expansion Relay modules, providing a total of up to 12 relays. The XM-440 can also send trigger events to groups of XM measurement modules to collect triggered trend data. Configuration is via DeviceNet or serial port (RS-232) using the XM Serial Configuration Utility.

• Event log stores 128 most recent events (alarm/relay status changes, configuration changes, setpoint multiplier activation)

• Serial port (RS-232) for local configuration (mini-connector or terminal base)

• DeviceNet communication with configurable baud rate (125/250/500 kbps or autobaud) and node address (0…63)
