-This controller can be used for efficient control of industrial machines and processes. It features high-speed data transfer via a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) slot and supports a serial backplane for migration to the 90-30 series I/O system.
-The IC695CPU320-HS has two (2) built-in communication ports supporting RS232 and RS485 communication standards. These communication ports use the 90 Series Protocol (SNP) to communicate with programming workstations, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems from mode.
-The IC695CPU320-HS has an internal Celeron M processor with a processing speed of 1 GHz. It contains 65 megabytes of user memory, the contents of which are reserved by the 90-30 auxiliary battery modules of the Lithium Smart Battery Series, catalog numbers IC695ACC302 and IC693ACC302, respectively. In addition, it has 64 megabytes of non-volatile flash memory user memory. Furthermore, this user memory supports the reallocation of custom-sized data and program memory. It supports up to 512 program blocks, with a maximum size of 128 KB for a single program block. The IC695CPU320-HS supports most 90-30 series PLC I/O modules. This feature provides flexibility, which is particularly useful and beneficial when upgrading legacy 90-30 series PLCs to the modern PACSystems RX3i controller platform. This allows for a phased migration, where the existing 90-30 PLC controller and logic are migrated first, by the I/O modules. PACSystems RX3i supports firmware modification.
-The GE Fanuc IC695CPU320-HS module is capable of executing 1000 Boolean instructions in 0.047 milliseconds. The module supports 512 program blocks. The maximum size of a program block is 128 KB. Two embedded communication ports are provided on the module: RS-485 and RS-232. Supported serial protocols include SNP, Serial I/O, and Modbus RTU slave protocol.
-The IC695CPU320-HS module communicates with programmers and HMIs using the serial port with the SNP slave protocol. This module communicates with the intelligent option module and I/O via a dual backplane bus. Environmental specifications include an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The IC695CPU320-HS module supports both the serial backplane bus and the RX3i backplane bus, drawing 1 amp of current at 3.3V DC and 1.2 amps of current at 5V DC from the backplane. Six indicator lights are provided on the front panel for module status updates.
