Description:

The GE IC697CPX928 is a Central Processing Unit (CPU) module designed for use with the GE Fanuc Series 90-70 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system. The module is a high-performance CPU with a clock speed of up to 200 MHz and a built-in Floating Point Unit (FPU) for enhanced processing capabilities.

 It is designed to fit into a single rack slot and comes with three built-in serial ports. A backplane mounted on the rack allows this device to communicate with several different modules. A run/stop control switch with three positions or specific software running from an attached computer is used to control the IC697CPX928. Seven on-board LED lights display operational status.

The module integrates seamlessly with Series 90-70 racks and allows communication with serial devices via its RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces.
