Description:

The IOC4Mk2 module is an input/output module in the Meggitt VM600Mk2 machine monitoring system. It is always used in pair with the MPC4Mk2 module. Its primary function is to acquire signals from field devices and send control commands to the MPC4Mk2 monitoring module.

This module can be applied to the protection and condition monitoring of rotating machinery, such as vibration and combustion monitoring.

This single-width module occupies one rack slot and is mounted at the rear of the VM600Mk2 rack, directly opposite the MPC4Mk2 monitoring module, and is directly connected to the rack backplate via two connectors.

The IOC4Mk2 input/output module is equipped with five relays. One general-purpose circuit fault relay (FAULT) is used to indicate faults in the MPC4Mk2 1OC4Mk2 module. The other four relays can be configured differently depending on application requirements, typically normally open (NE) or normally closed (NDE), and locked or unlocked states. These relays are driven by the control circuitry of the VM600Mk2 system. When a fault is detected, the circuitry automatically drives all OC4Mk2 and RLC16Mk2 relays, as well as the 1OC4K2 analog output, to a safe state, thereby ensuring that the relays are always de-energized when a component fails.

-AND, OR, and majority voting logic functions for combining alarm and status information.
